Well is there any reason why you can change a user rating days after you have rated...

has been a long discussion.
the decision of the comm. was that anybody should be able to adjust their ratings anytime if something happens later on

Why should one bought effect another?

If I buy one item in december and the service is good and I give the person teh rating "Super"

I Marts I buy a new item and somethings goes wrong. And this time I only give him "poor"... Why shall it be possible to change the rating from December - just because of one big mistake from the seller?

So from a rating; "Super" + "Poor" he nows have "Poor" "Poor" - thats not fair...

I agree with frold, this is unfair to either seller or buyer.

They should only be able to leave the initial rating.

I am so sure, when i lock this feature i will see the request for beeing able to edit a rating again...
Laughing

Make a request and we will see what the comm. decides. It takes me around 5 seconds to lock the re-rating.

Try this.. Submit a request to be able to toggle it in the ACP Wink would it work to have a field to select number of days, then if they set it to 0 days, they can change the feedback forever? Just a thought, probably easier just to add a toggle in the acp. Wink

Any updates on this issue?

I personally can't see any reason to change a rating after the fact, but at least leave the decision to the admin. I would be horrified if my users could change ratings on my auction.

Did anyone ever post a poll on the issue?
