Once we decide on a logo, I would be happy to modify it for dark backgrounds. We will probably need a blueish one as well, there are a lot of blue themes also. The standard buttons should be easy to make, just replace white with black or charcoal gray in almost any graphics editor, or inverse / reverse / negative the colors. |

First attempt, the methods i used accidently made the word auction appear sunken. dunno, different anyway. if you think it looks dumb, let me know.

Hey FR, did that guy ever make a dark button set? I haven't checked the download page, but if not, I could whip up a set real quick.
Guest.. The word auction looks inverted, because you darkened it's 'pinkish' borders I don't know what utility you are using, but this would give you better results:
I would use color select, if you have it, set it about 33-50% then select all the words and borders and hammer, then invert selection, so that you have only the button and its shaded areas, and darken the button like you did the first time. Finally, grab (select) the corners and paint them just flat charcoal gray (75% black? as I recall). Then save it, and make another one with just flat black corners. Those two buttons should cover all of the dark themes.
Everything looks just a bit 'too' blurry the way you have it. Try just a touch of sharpen on it, if you want to keep the one you used.
It's getting a bit pixelly too, but that's probably not your fault. Perhaps FR and I could hook up and post the source file somewhere, if I didn't already send it to him.
Or perhaps I should just do it myself. ^^ I'm busy with other projects though, so if someone else is willing, or the button sets have already been done, I'm more than willing to take a back seat. |

Dark set is not done so far.
Probably we will need some more buttons with the next version anyways. _________________ Want to say thank you. Use my Amazon Wishlist

Aw!! And I spent all night in the forum! I coulda been whipping up some buttons.
Oh well, I'll whip up a charcoal and a black background button set, charcoal button face. the charcoal set should go just perfect with black3dblue. Not that -I- like black3dblue or anything.
It won't match black3d PERFECTLY, but should be close enough to it and any other black or charcoal background button set to keep everybody happy. Ok, I'll be honest, to keep a FEW people happy, lol.
I'll commit to having them done within a couple weeks. I actually just got sick of modding my forum, so I took the night off to help out here. ^^ |

Nice site. What portal are you using? Are you looking to integrate phpbb-auction into that portal? |

I might be confused... Your summers-style portal is what Pengrus is using as his portal? Is it available for download? |
