There is a long way from a request to an implemented feature.

To accelerate the process please follow this guide.

1. One functional request per thread.
2. Subject needs to describe the request as good as possible.
3. Describe the functionality of the feature
4. INCLUDE A POLL TO EACH REQUEST

The phpbb-auction staff and me will be allowed to prune requests or modify them heavily to adjust them to this structure.

I am going to further explain this to prevent confusion.

Make sure that each request is SPECIFICALLY for one new feature. We use the polls to track which features will be added, if you have more than one feature in each request, the entire request is useless to us at an Administrative level.

This is very simple. Use the simplest, but most complete, terms to describe exactly what you want. The reason people create duplicate requests is because they don't understand that someone else already requested it. People read the subject, and if they don't understand it, they never read your thread. If no one reads your thread, no one will ever vote on your feature, and the feature will NEVER get included. Once again, use the simplest, but most complete, terms to describe exactly what you want.

This is where you get in depth. Describe what you want to see added in every way you can think of, to make the description as complete as possible. Note that if you have some code to submit for your feature, you may as well bypass the feature request forum entirely. Post your code in the development forum, along with the info on what you want to do. From there the feature will either end up as a mod, or included in the full version of the auction system.

4. INCLUDE A POLL TO EACH REQUEST

We use polls to track which features will get implemented. If you have no poll, your request will NEVER get implemented. If you don't understand how to add a poll, ask at that end of your request that a moderor or administrator add one for you.

NOTE: I AM HEREBY adopting a zero tolerance in this forum for threads which do not follow these rules. We tried being relaxed, but people took advantage of it and it gummed up the whole development process of the auction system.

So, if you want your thread to get deleted, do NOT follow these simple rules. Wink Laughing
