Maybe a good idea to create something for the user to see the local cost for sending items.

I mean a new block for showing the local post tariff.
For example: 1-5 kg = 5$, 6-10 kg = 10$, and so on.
So the poster of a auction has a good idea what the shipping cost will be.

I made an example at http://www.fryskewalden.nl/forum/auction_offer.php?mode=add&ar=4

You will see there a little table below the shipping cost line.
That is about what i mean.

yes definetly..
but also the prices can vary so you would need
price inside US (or inside Europe) also....
there should be standard way of putting it..

AND users should specify if they ship world-wide or not..

For some auctions example TV-sets, there is no point of shipping abroad because of different TV standards.. and I dunno if the seller will be willing to ship a giant 5 foot tv set to south africa...

so maybe a dropdown (US-only) or (France-only) would be not bad.

and there is a shipping price calculator somewhere out there..
I think on the fedex homepage.. but i'm not shure
a link to that would be not bad either..
