How about creating a data feed for froogle? eBay sends all auctions with a 'buy it now' price to froogle to be indexed into the search engine. This is a great way to create additional traffic to your site. If this was developed to be administrated from your admin control panel with fields for your user name on froogle and password for uploading the text file that would be great!

Tried looking for both xml and Qxl data feeds with no luck.....

The data feed would need to index buy it nows or fixed listings when that option is implemented Wink

Doesn't anyone else see the use for this? I can manually create a feed for froogle and have done so for other sites that I have with great results, but I really don't desire to type by hand thousands of potencial auction listings....

Thanks!

I'm certain someone developed one at one point, keep looking around. Wink

If nothing else, one of the feeds developed for phpbb should be able to be adapted fairly simply with a few changes to some table names. Smile

I will look into that! I guess I will have to crank up my pea brain to attempt to accomplish the task!

Be sure to let us know if you find a simple solution. This would be a very worthy function to add to phpbb-auction. If I could find the time, I would do it myself. Cool
